LIMITED WARRANTY
Battery – Starter – Alternator – Other Parts
This limited warranty applies to the original consumer purchaser only. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Adjustments are computed from the date of purchase to the date the part is presented to Battery Wholesale for warranty consideration with the original receipt as proof of purchase (See purchase receipt for applicable warranty duration).
FREE BATTERY & OTHER PARTS REPLACEMENT
Should this battery or part become unserviceable (not merely discharged) due to manufacturing defects in material or workmanship during the applicable Free Replacement Period, Battery Wholesale will replace the battery or part free of charge, provided the failed battery or part is returned to Battery Wholesale.
FREE REPLACEMENT PERIOD:
- Powerpak 60 = 1 year.
- Powerpak “Gold” Batteries = 2 years.
- Powerpak “Platinum” Batteries = 5 years.
- All other batteries and parts = 90 days, unless otherwise noted.
PRO RATA BATTERY REPLACEMENT
In the event this battery becomes unserviceable (not merely discharged) after the expiration of the Free Replacement Period, Battery Wholesale will replace the battery on a pro-rata adjustment basis during the Adjustment Period applicable to the particular battery.
The owner’s monthly pro rata adjustment cost is determined by dividing the list price of the battery by the months of adjustment offered. Multiply this monthly cost times the months of service received and this is the amount you pay for a new battery.
NOTE: The pro-rata adjustment period for passenger car batteries used in commercial service or in trucks over one ton, taxis, police cars, marine, recreational vehicles, lawn tractors, snowmobiles and all other applications; shall be one-half of the otherwise applicable period.
ALTERNATOR & STARTER REPLACEMENT
If your receipt shows a “limited lifetime” warranty, we guarantee the original part and any replacement of that part for as long as you own your vehicle. If your receipt shows “1 year” warranty, and the part fails within a year, we’ll replace it. The replacement mart is warranted for the remainder of your original warranty or for 90 days, whichever is longer. Regardless of what is printed on your receipt, parts installed on all commercial vehicles, taxis and government vehicles are warranted for 90 days and a replacement is warranted for the remainder of your warranty period or for 30 days, whichever is longer. LABOR – Charges for labor are warranted for a period of 12 months unless otherwise noted. All labor warranties must be performed by Battery Wholesale or labor warranty is void.
LIMITED WARRANTY & ADJUSTMENT POLICY DOES NOT APPLY TO:
- Recharging of discharged only batteries caused by defective electrical or charging systems or batteries taken out of service and not regularly charged and properly maintained or the free usage of rental batteries.
- Batteries with damaged containers, covers, melted terminals and punctured terminals.
- Batteries that have been overcharged or undercharged caused by defective charging systems or batteries that have been installed or charged in reverse.
- Batteries, starters and alternators that fail because they are underrated and installed in applications for which they were not designed nor recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
- Batteries, starters and alternators that fail because of another faulty part, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, fire, wreckage, breakage, freezing, accidents or explosion.
- Batteries, starters and alternators which have been disassembled and/or tampered with or altered in any way.
- Cost of towing your vehicle.
- LOSS OF USE OF THE VEHICLE. LOSS OF TIME. INCONVENIENCE. OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
LIABILITY IS HEREBY LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF THE BATTERY, STARTER, ALTERNATOR OR PART ONLY!
No implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose shall remain in effect for longer than the duration of the applicable Limited Warranty and adjustment period set forth herein. The warranty gives you specific legal rights, and your may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

NATIONWIDE LIMITED BATTERY WARRANTY
Q: What do I do if my battery fails when I am out of town on a trip?
A: Have the battery tested. If the battery fails to hold a charge, (not merely discharged)*, and is unserviceable, purchase a replacement battery of your choice.
Q: How do I get a refund or credit for the failed battery?
A: Keep the failed battery, as you are required to return the failed battery and your original receipt, along with a copy of your receipt for the replacement battery to a Battery Wholesale store upon your return.
A warranty refund or credit will be computed as described in the Limited Warranty Policy printed above, on the lesser of either the failed batteries original cost or the cost of the replacement battery.
